BALTIMORE - Approaching the final two weeks of the regular season, the Baltimore Ravens have no interest in exploring potential playoff scenarios or hypothetical situations. A.J. Green Jersey .We have to win out, rookie linebacker C.J. Mosley said. Everybody talks about who has to win and who has to lose, but we have to win the next two games to give ourselves a chance. The Ravens are in this position because they survived a shaky performance Sunday in a 20-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.Baltimore (9-5) came in as a two-touchdown favourite against the Jaguars (2-12), but trailed at halftime and didnt clinch the victory until Blake Bortles threw an interception in the final minute.Obviously, it didnt go as smoothly as we would have liked, but thats the way it is, said tight end Owen Daniels, who scored Baltimores lone offensive touchdown. They pulled out all the stops and we did just enough to win.It was hardly an artistic success, but the Ravens were happy to take another awkward step toward a potential playoff berth. They remain a half-game out of first place in the AFC North and are tied with Pittsburgh for one of the conferences two wild-card slots. There are things we need to clean up, get better at, wide receiver Steve Smith said. But you cant upset yourself over that, especially with a win.The Jaguars played well on defence, but Bortles was sacked eight times. Jacksonville never reached the end zone and was held scoreless after halftime. It was frustrating, Jaguars running back Tony Gerhart said. We moved the ball well in the first half and crossed the 50, but then had to settle for field goals. Against a good team like that, if you score a couple touchdowns there, you put them in a bind. Some things to know about Ravens-Jaguars game:DAS BOOT: Bortles shuffled into his postgame press conference with a walking boot on his right foot. He sprained the foot during the game, but the injury wasnt serious enough for him to yield to backup Chad Henne. With the Jaguars on a short week before hosting the injury-depleted Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, there might be some concern that Bortles might not be fit enough to play.He dismissed the notion. Its fine, Bortles insisted. Just being precautionary. Look forward to getting back (home) tonight and getting back after it.BIG BLOCK: The Ravens block of Jacksonvilles first punt gave them the early lead and set the tone for the day. After Darian Stewart blasted up the middle and blocked Bryan Angers kick, Kamar Aiken picked the ball up at the 11 and carried it in.It was a call just for me and (Anthony) Levine, and whichever one of us get there first, it was just, make the play, Stewart said. After the block, Aiken had it easy. When I saw Stew pop open, I was just like Hes going to get this one, Aiken said. And when he got it, and Im thinking, This is a layup.MORAL OF THE STORY: A week after letting a 13-10 halftime lead slip away at home against Houston, the Jaguars couldnt hold on to a 12-10 advantage at intermission against Baltimore.Jacksonville made things difficult for the Ravens, but coming close wasnt good enough.I told our team were not into moral victories, coach Gus Bradley said. Were into victories. Thats what were after, and weve got to figure this out.ROOKIE STEPS UP: Starting for the second week in a row in place of suspended defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, Ravens rookie Timmy Jernigan helped make Bortles life miserable with two sacks. We were doing some things in there, some stunting. I was able to beat my guy a couple of times up the gut and make the play, said Jernigan, a second-round draft pick from Florida State.Jernigan said he tried to emulate teammates Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs. When you see Elvis Dumervil setting records and Terrell Suggs making sacks all over the place, it makes you want to elevate your game to the next level. he said.HELLO AGAIN: Ravens running back Justin Forsett ran for 48 yards on 16 carries against the team he played for last season.Forsett said there was plenty of banter between himself and his former friends — all of it good.It was all encouragement, he said. It was all love.Forsett has 1,128 yards on the ground this season. He had 31 yards on six carries with Jacksonville in 2013.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Anthony Munoz Jersey . Beckham finished 2 for 4, adding a double in the first inning. Chicago has won eight of 12 to get back to .500 (27-27). The White Sox are 6-3 against Cleveland this season after losing 17 of 19 to their American League Central rival in 2013. Mike Aviles went 1 for 2 with a walk and drove in Clevelands run. Andrew Billings Jersey . She still remembers the massive roar of the home crowd when the Canadians walked out on the pitch before 47,784 fans at Commonwealth Stadium in 2002. Lang expects a similar reception for the Canadian team as the host nation at this years tournament, which begins Tuesday. http://www.nflbengalsgearofficial.com/dre-kirkpatrick-jersey/ . -- Brad Gushue of St.PHILADELPHIA - The NHLs Olympic break is less than two weeks away but the threat of terrorism is keeping the situation volatile. After deputy commissioner Bill Daly said the league would consider pulling out of Sochi if something "significant" happens before players arrive, those set to participate are trying not to worry about that scenario. "Between the NHL and the NHLPA and the Olympic people, in communication obviously with the people in Russia, theyre going to advise us if we shouldnt go," Ken Holland of Canadas management team said Tuesday. "Im looking at the lead of the NHL. "Until they tell us were not going, Im going to Newark and going to jump on a plane and go to Sochi." A Hockey Canada spokesman said the organization had no official comment, adding nothing has changed about the situation. Charter planes are scheduled to leave for Sochi on Feb. 9, two days after the opening ceremony. Security concerns are keeping athletes on edge well before that, though Daly said in an email to the Associated Press he doesnt expect the plan to change. "Obviously, if something significant were to transpire between now and February 9 that causes us to question that conclusion, we will re-evaluate," Daly told the AP. Forward Tomas Tatar, who will represent Slovakia, read about that Tuesday morning before the Detroit Red Wings morning skate. "There would (have to) be a good reason if something happens before," Tatar said. "Obviously that would be not everythings OK there, so I would probably agree with the people here — why we should go there if something is not good? Hopefully nothing will happen and I think everythings in good hands." Olympic teammate Andrej Meszaros, a defenceman for the Philadelphia Flyers, said that possibility is in the back of his mind even if he doesnt want it to be. "It would be disappointing, thats for sure, but safety first," Meszaros said. "Theres nothing you can do about it. "Unfortunately, the world is like it is with the threats and theres nothing you can do about it. People are (ticked) off. Well see what happens in the next few days." Mark Streit, who represented Switzerland in Salt Lake City in 2002, Turin in 2006 and Vancouver in 2010, is trying to keep his focus on the Flyers upcoming schedule and not the off-chance NHL players wont go to Sochi. "Thhe NHL will do what they think is the best for the players and for our safety and for the families safety," Streit said. Giovani Bernard Jersey. "Thats out of (our) control. Im not really worried about that." Jimmy Howard, whos expected to be the third U.S. goaltender, is more worried about bouncing back from another knee injury. He insisted hes not thinking about Olympic contingency plans or security concerns. "Im trying not to let that consume me,"Howard said. "I look at it as this could be possibly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. "Im hoping everything goes off without a hitch." U.S. forward James van Riemsdyk said after the Maple Leafs morning skate in Toronto on Tuesday he doesnt have any family members going and that its tough not to wonder about the safety of athletes in Sochi. "Theyve reassured us that theyre taking a lot of measures over there," van Riemsdyk said. "All the players want to play, thats not really the issue here. Safety is the No. 1 priority." Jakub Voracek of the Czech Republic is hoping the Russian government has spent enough money to keep everyone safe. "I think the security, its very tight there," the Flyers winger said. "Obviously its going to be a pain, probably, for the people that want to watch the games or something. But its what you got to do. "In todays world you never know what happens. You go into the mall right here and theres a shooting. You go to the movie theatre, you get shot. A lot of crazy people running around in the world today. Its not only in Russia. Youve got to make sure that the securitys very tight." While Howard hopes these are just "empty threats" against the Olympics, Holland recalled similar concerns going into Vancouver. Political concerns in that region of Russia have made this seem like a more dangerous situation. "I think in this world we live in today, unfortunately there are times that you always have concern," Holland said. "But you have to trust that the people that are in charge of security are going to be on top of things." The Players Association said in a statement "the NHLPA continues to be in contact with Olympic and security officials regarding plans for the Olympic Games in Sochi, and will work closely with all concerned to monitor matters in advance of and during the Games."
